Compact Blow Molding machine | Stroke 380 mm

A flexible and compact extrusion blow molding machine, space is more than a concept. 

A project born in 2021, the E-380 extrusion blow molding machine was designed and developed following a concept completely different from all other blow molding machines of the Techne range. Although it consists of a very different structure than other Techne extrusion blow molding machines, it maintains the same industrial quality standard that allows it to be used for more than 20 years.

The E-380 is a compact blow molding machine intended for small production outputs. Available in both single and double shuttle configurations for increased production efficiency with a single investment. The E-380 can be configured with both Monolayer and COEX extrusion heads (maximum up to COEX-3). The E-LINE series extrusion heads are all made in-house, except for specific customer requests.

For which type of application is this blow molding machine intended?

The E-380 is ideal for small-scale packaging production for the food, cosmetics, detergent and industrial sectors. Supported bottle sizes range from 100 ml to 2L.

Which plastic materials can this extrusion blow molding machine model process?

The E-380 can blow mold a variety of plastic materials including LDPE, HMWPE, HDPE, PP, E-PET y PETG, both single and multilayer (up to COEX3) depending on the type of storage needed for the final product.

The main advantages of the E-380 extrusion blow molding machine model are:

  • Security system certified by B&R: allowing operations of fine tuning on the blow pins or on deflashing also with opened access doors;
  • Vertical adjustment system of motorized blow pins: there is no need to stop the machine to vertically regulate the blow pins, but simply vary the parameters on the user interface screen;
  • The carriage stroke has several configuration options. The E-380 can be configured with 360, 380 or 400  mm to allow those customers who already own molds of other EBM machines to adapt them to the new Techne machines.
  • Extremely flexible machine type: ideal for the production of different bottle sizes thanks to its tooling adaptability and interchangeability;
  • After the deflashing there is one more station, where it is possible to insert the calibration together with the leak tester or as an alternative the leak tester together with the cutting dome system. In fact, the cutting dome system is an optional that can be included inside the machine.
